Wei Chen, PhD, researcher, Master tutor. Currently, he is the deputy director of Poultry Nutrition and Feed Research Department and the post expert of Guangdong waterfowl system nutrition and feed, mainly engaged in animal nutrition research.
Leading the research and development of the national key project - intergovernmental cooperation projects, the national natural science foundation of China youth fund, one country, guangdong science and technology plan, international cooperation, guangdong province, guangzhou science and technology plan projects such as 10, participate in national natural science fund on the fund, national 973, national waterfowl industry technology system such as topic 12 items, has published more than 50. It has obtained 4 authorized patents and 3 provincial and ministerial scientific research achievements awards, among which, it was awarded the Second prize of Hubei Science and Technology Progress in 2012, the Outstanding Doctoral thesis of Hubei Province in 2013, the Pearl River Science and Technology Star of Guangzhou in 2017, and the Jinying Star Talent Program of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2020. Participated in the compilation of the national standard "Nutritional Requirements of Laying ducks" (ranked the third), and presided over the local standard of Guangdong Province "Laying ducks Feeding Regulations" (draft).
In 2010 and 2017, he visited Novos International Research and Development Center in the United States and Leibniz Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology in Germany, and maintained a good cooperative relationship with foreign research institutions such as Asyut University in Egypt and Leibniz Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology in Germany.
