Sai Zhang
Associate researcher
Dr. Sai Zhang was graduated from Michigan State Universtiy, and served as a post-doctoral associate in the University of Maryland. He had cooperative researches in Baylor College of Medicine, the USDA, Purdue University and University of Minnesota. He was introduced in Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GAAS) as “excelllent doctor”in 2020, and has currently been working in the area of 1) precision animal nutrition, 2) feed ingredients evaluation, and 3) metabolism of protein and energy.
He works for the scientist of China Agriculture Rsearch System (Chicken), and is member in Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science in South China, Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratroy of Animal Breeding and Nutrition. He participated in the project from the USDA, the general program from NSFC, and the project from National Industrial Technology System of Broilers. He is currently the leading investigator in 2 projects from Guangzhou City and GAAS. He coauthored in 1 book, and accumulatively published 18 papers, including 15 SCI papers and 11 international presentation abstracts. He also has 2 software coyprights approved and 1 technological progress award from Hubei Province. He was awarded as “Animal Science Young Scholar” from ASAS in 2020.
