Jian Ji, Ph.D, researcher, Deputy Director of Poultry Breeding and Production Laboratory. From 2018 to 2019, he was a visiting scholar of Harvard University in the United States. He was successively selected as the 2018 Guangzhou Pearl River Science and Technology Rising Star, 2020 One Hundred Doctoral and Post-doctoral Innovative Figures of Guangdong Province and 2020 Young and Middle-aged Discipline Leader Training Program of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His current research interests include poultry microbial immunity and genetic regulation, mainly focusing on important economic traits of poultry and intestinal metagenome, intestinal microbes and natural immunity of poultry. He has presided over 6 scientific research projects, including the general project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and the Special Project of Science and Technology Innovation Talents of Guangzhou. She has published research papers on Poultry Science, Archives of Microbiology, and Nature Immunology, and has received more than 150 citations. He has won the Excellent Paper Award of Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and the Great North Agriculture Scholarship and other honorary titles.
