Dr. Bin Hu graduated from Sun Yat-sen University. He mainly engaged in research on topics related to the pig industry, including the research and application of biosafety, production management, breeding system establishment, market analysis and forecasting, strategy of industry development, etc. He has served as the production and breeding director in several pig breeding groups, focused on the technical and scientific system improvement. He has cultivated and applied for new livestock and poultry synthetic line “Longbao 1st pig synthetic line” as the principle research personnel. More than ten research projects has presided and participated, such as “Research and development of local pig breeding technology system and establishment of new lines” and “Comparative study on performance of small-ear spotted pig hybrid combinations”, he has published more than 20 articles and applied for more than 10 patents.
