Kai Peng, joint training PhD by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and China Agricultural University, associate scientist, master‘s supervisor. Dr. Peng is mainly engaged in aquatic animal nutrition and feed resources development research, presided over 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Science and Technology Project, and participated in 10 projects including the National Science and Technology Support Program during the Twelfth Five-year Plan Period, Industry of National Public Welfare (Agriculture) Scientific Research Project,Special Project of Ministry of Agriculture, Guangdong Fishing Port Construction and Fishery Industry Development Special Project. Until 2021, he won the 2019 Guangdong Province Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Award, and the 2018 First Prize of Science and Technology of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, published 57 papers including 20 SCI indexed articles, participated in editing two books, and has been authorized with 5 patents and 10 software copyright. Dr. Peng is selected as the council member and young reserve talent of China Cereals and Oils Association, evaluation expert of Guangdong province agricultural project and Guangdong province geographical indication database, commissioner of Guangdong province agricultural science and technology, and the scientific and technological pioneer of GDAAS-local cooperation of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
