Xia Weiguang, PhD, Associate Researcher, Animal Nutrition and Feed Science, South China Agricultural University. Member of the National Waterfowl Industry Technology System Post Scientist Team and Guangdong Modern Agricultural Industry Technology System Innovation team; Member of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Animal Breeding and Nutrition Research, South China Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He is engaged in research on precision nutrition and reproductive nutrition regulation of waterfowl.
He has presided over 5 Natural Science Foundation projects of Guangdong Province, President's Fund Projects of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Rural revitalization projects of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has participated in more than 20 science and technology projects such as National Natural Science Foundation projects, national key research and development program sub-projects and National modern agricultural industry Technology construction special projects. He has published more than 40 academic papers and 11 papers as the first author in academic journals such as Poultry Science, Animal and Journal of Animal Nutrition. More than 10 national patents have been declared and 3 national utility model patents and invention patents have been authorized. To participate in the formulation of the national standard "Nutrient Requirements for Laying Ducks" and the local standard of Guangdong Province "Feeding Regulations for Laying Ducks". Participated in the compilation of two essays and the documentary on rural revitalization.
